Historical Summary: Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13th, 1743 in Shadwell, Virginia. His mother was Jane Randolph and his demote was Peter Jefferson. He was a planter and surveyor. Jefferson was multi-talented. He was a lawyer, agronomist, musician, scientist, philosopher, author, architect, inventor, and statesman. Jefferson inherited slaves from his father and father-in law.
